About the Department
Established in 2002, the Information Technology Department has evolved into a dynamic academic center offering B.Sc. IT, B.Sc. AI & ML, M.Sc. IT, and M.Sc. Information & Cyber Security, catering to over 550+ students. The department focuses on providing strong technical foundations, hands-on learning, industry exposure, and research-oriented training. Over the years, it has organized a wide range of academic, professional, and co-curricular initiatives, including orientation programs, the intercollegiate fest “E-Spark,” industrial visits, and major workshops and seminars on Ethical Hacking, Data Science, AI Tools, and Cyber Security. The department also offers several value-added certificate courses such as Python, Machine Learning, Android Development, Cybersecurity, and Software Testing etc. Students consistently excel through internships, placements, certifications like CCNA and CEH, AWS and intercollegiate achievements. With active faculty engagement in research and professional development, the department continues to strengthen academic excellence and holistic student growth.
