The Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance (BAF) Department was established in the academic year 2005–2006 with the goal of providing specialized education in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, and Auditing.

The department is committed to developing students’ analytical thinking and professional competencies required to succeed in the ever-evolving financial sector. It emphasizes academic excellence through a well-designed curriculum, experienced faculty, and practical, industry-oriented teaching approaches.

To enhance learning beyond the classroom, the department regularly organizes workshops, seminars, guest lectures, and skill development programs that help bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application.

Over the years, the department has consistently achieved strong academic results and actively motivates students to pursue professional qualifications such as CA, CMA, ICWA, CFA, and ACCA.

The annual departmental fest, Manthan, is conducted to nurture managerial abilities and leadership skills among students. In addition, the department encourages participation in co-curricular and extracurricular activities, ensuring holistic development and preparing students for a wide range of career opportunities in finance and related fields.
